Hello Beautiful Souls,
Early yesterday morning as I walked around our Santa Fe backyard I became aware of a gorgeous large yellow butterfly sitting on the edge of our water fountain. After taking a dip in the water this beautiful tiger swallowtail enjoyed wandering through our flower garden as I stood watching from a few feet away for about ten minutes.
A home technician, by the name of Thomas happened to be outside with me at the time and we were both excited to witness the gentle presence of this beauty.
My intuition kept prompting me to say something out loud that I debated on sharing with a stranger. As more time passed and the butterfly seemed in no hurry to leave, I couldn’t contain my feelings about this being a sign from the afterlife any longer.
My daughter passed away a few years ago and she often sends a sign to me through the visit of a yellow butterfly floating by.
His response was immediate and heartfelt as he began to express that his best friend had passed not too long ago and recently sent him a white butterfly to confirm that he is still with him.
Oh my gosh, we could relate. We both felt the importance of receiving signs from heaven and were so grateful for the gift of this one.
Suddenly, the butterfly lifted off the ground, landed on my hip and rested on a belt I was wearing around my waist. Stunned, I froze and quietly smiled as we both watched with pure delight and amazement.
After a long minute or two she begin a slow climb up to my shoulder where she stayed for another few minutes before flying off and over the adobe wall.
Thankfully, someone was there who was equally touched by this magical experience to share in the joy and capture a series of photo’s as this butterfly climbed from my waist to my shoulder.
It was a comforting and reassuring sign as a few days ago was the sixth anniversary of my daughter’s passing and I felt she had already sent a butterfly just like this one to catch my attention by having it swirl around my head a few times while I sat in the garden talking on the phone with our niece in California.
This was above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced and truly an exquisite sign that the love and connection from our loved ones in spirit can uplift, comfort and encourage us, always.
