Happy New Year’s Eve
Wow! Time is going by so quickly, I can hardly believe that today we are saying goodbye to 2017.
For many it has been a difficult year filled with natural disasters such as hurricanes and wildfires, stress, struggle and grief recovery. My heart is with you as you travel this path while seeking safety, compassion and kindness.
For me, personally 2016 was the most heart-wrenching year of elation turned to despair as my oldest child married the love of his life and a few months later my youngest child suddenly left this world leaving me heartbroken and questioning by ability to survive child loss, again.
My 2017 was focused on learning to live anew with the many blessing and tragedies that have occurred in my life and those close to me.
Renewal, recovery and re-balancing were important as I became more vulnerable and more courageous as I sought to regain my footing in this new reality.
Grief-work, expression and creativity played an immense role as I struggled to release the heavy grief I was carrying around by letting myself find joy again in nature, art, design and writing.
Blessings, miracles and spirituality became clearer to me again and my heart was filled with gratitude for all the protection, kindness and generosity I received.
New beginnings, adventure and opportunity came about as my husband and I decided to relocate to a small city we had fallen in love with on our many visits.
Love, courage and re-connection was about blissfully celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, opening my heart to allow for new friendships, the re-establishing of relationships from the past and becoming acquainted with family previously unknown to me.
Letting go, lightening up and taking chances is shaking off the restraints of the familiar while embracing the unknown.
Sharing the light, leading the way and inspiration is the way in which I give back to life by offering love, light and healing support to others.
