Hello Beautiful Souls,
REIKI … is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy.” Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage, but a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy.
Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others.
A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional.
My Reiki practice began years ago as a young woman impassioned about all things related to health, wellness and spirituality. At the time I was the owner and manager of an organic market and I was raising my two children.
I provided healthy food options and education for local families yet I also sought to expand my knowledge and ability to regain and maintain my energy, focus and passion for life and serving others. This desire prompted my training in transcendental meditation (TM) and guided meditation at the nearby new age center.
Around this same time my healing path led me to participate in a Reiki 1 certification class before I had received my first Reiki sesson. Immediately, I began to practice self treatments on a nearly daily basis to assist in re-balancing my energy, provide healing to my still grieving heart following the loss of my baby daughter, strengthen my weary spirit and fuel my love and light-filled mission to not only survive trauma, emotional abuse, divorce and a health crisis, but to light the healing path for others.
This practice changed my life in so many ways that was crucial to uplifting and nurturing my body, mind and spirit over the next few years and beyond. Becoming a reiki master was a milestone I sought in my healing journey as a way to enhance my ability to share this healing energy with the world around me.
To this day, as I grieve childloss yet again I still implement reiki as well as meditation in my own self care practice and I send abundant love and radiant light out to the world in all that I do to uplift, inspire and encourage the beautiful souls on their own healing journey.
I would love to hear how reiki has impacted your life and well-being in positive ways.
May your soul be uplifted as you sparkle and shine with radiant healing energy and light.
May we be all be empowered by love.
Blessings to all,
Nancy Yuskaitis
