I’d like to welcome you here with open arms, compassion and love. If you are hurting please know you are not alone. We are on this healing grief journey together, day by day and sometimes moment by moment.
I too struggle with the aftermath of traumatic loss but I am here to tell you, we can do this and we will not only survive but seek opportunities for soulful self-care adventures and ways to celebrate life in memory of our loved ones as we heal.
On those days, or times where I am feeling overwhelmed by emotions, grief or situations beyond my control, that leave me feeling weary, helpless and sad, I take a moment to be still and encourage myself to breathe in hope and goodwill and breathe out pain and sadness.
I honor my feelings for the heartfelt expression that it is, yet I gently guide myself back from darkness as I allow myself to become uplifted with the positive energy found in close friendships, the compassion of others, the empathy of those who have traveled a similar painful path, the comforting presence of angels, guides and loved ones in spirit, energy work, prayer, immersing myself in nurturing soulful inspired adventures and assisting others in their journey.
Allowing your heart to remain open to the possibilities of reclaimed joy and hopeful days in the wake of loss takes intention, mindfulness and a conscious view of living.
Your life is important and the kindness and compassion you have for yourself and others who may be dealing with difficult emotional situations will benefit your grief journey process.
